Sahitya akademi award is a litrature award in india .India's National Academy of Letters, annually confers on writers of the most outstanding books of literary merit published in any of the 24 major Indian languages[1] such as English, Rajasthani Punjabi and the 22 listed languages in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution recognised by the Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi
 
Set up in 1954, the honor includes a plaque and a monetary reward of ₹ 1,00,000. The honor's motivation is to perceive and advance greatness in Indian composition and furthermore recognize recent fads. The yearly interaction of choosing awardees runs for the previous a year. The plaque granted by the Sahitya Akademi was planned by the Indian movie producer Satyajit Ray.Prior to this, the plaque incidentally was made of marble, however this training was ended as a result of the inordinate weight. During the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965, the plaque was subbed with public investment funds securities.

 Amitabh Bhattacharya - Lyricist  Amitabh Bhattacharya is an Indian lyricist and playback singer from Uttar Pradesh who serves in Bollywood films.
